Alonzo Herran Jr. is a young African American man who was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. In 1998, he joined the Newark Police Department. He became a single father and was committed to raising his son. One income wasn’t good enough, so he began to invest in real estate. Because his investments did well, Alonzo was interested in tapping into his creative side. He wrote and released his first novel in 2012, Living With No Regrets, a storyline of 3 black males.
The book did so well locally that he decided to invest in film production with, Living With No Regrets, King of Newark, The Fearless One, and Fearless Two. With local and moderate success, Alonzo’s creative passion for making films continues to grow.
